Default Ripple Flechings

I have Carbon Wolverine Arrows and I haven't shot them maybe 50 times and one Fletching oneach ofthe arrows has ripples in it. It's the same Fletching on all the arrows. What could be the cause?

I bet you are hitting your rest. Are you shooting cock vain down? If so rotate it and try cock vain up.

Ok I'll try that. Can I use these Fletchings? How bad will it shoot with the ripples?

I've heard of taking a blow dryer to them and straightening them out. Never tried it though.

You can use them but I would put new ones on to make sure you solve your problem.

Ive use a blow dryer on fletchings before and it seemed to work, just take the blow dryer and sorta run it up and down the vane and smooth out the ripples with your fingers. Better yet get a dropaway!

Let me guess, you have a Whisker Biscuit rest with the carbon insert?

If so, I can't for the life of me understand why CAP insists on selling these narrow biscuits. Switch our biscuits too the aluminum one and your problems will be solved. It also in essence becomes a fall away rest!
