Muzzy 100 Grain Shooters

Bigbulls is right on. The four blade models cut more. All of his accurate math aside, it only makes sense. Four "knives" will cut more than 3 will, logically. The other issue being brought up is penetration. OK, I guess the fourth blade would cause MAYBE a tad more drag, but as sharp as those rascals are, it don't matter. Every deer I have shot with a 4 blade muzzy has zipped all the way through and stuck in the ground. Can't possibly get any more penetration than that.

Ummmm......DairyKing I believe was who posted a photo of a hog shot with a Magnus Stinger 4 blade through the shoulder blade. It cut all the way through, and apparently no damage to the broadhead.

Does anybody have any experience hitting bone/shoulder with a fourblade? Just curious how it performed.

I shot a boar 3 weeks ago last night. I used a 90 grain, 4 blade Muzzy. The hog was quartering torwards me. I shot him at 18 yards and got a complete pass-through. I hit him just in front of his right shoulder, passing through his "shields" on both sides and breaking 2 ribs, one on each side.
The only damage to the Muzzy are that 3 out of the 4 blades have extremely small "dents" in the sharpened edges. I don't know how else to describe it. They aren't chipped, and the blades did notbend, but there are small imperfections in the edges.
If my digital camera will take a clear enough photo at close range, I'll post one.

Thanks to everyone for their opinion. I know there are a lot of other good ones out there but I sort of like the Muzzy but have only shot the 3 blade and with no problems. I value others experiences and I might try the 4 blade this time. I think it was a little in the lead for right now. Thanks again.
