Default AlphaShox on 3 yr old Hoyt

Has anyone put the new AlphaShox on anything older than 04 or 05 Hoyt's? I know they were designed for the 05 limb and that the 03 limb (what I have), they a hair thinner. I'm really impressed with the review and concept, but curious if anyone else has tried them?

The '03 limb is thinner? That is the first I have heard of it though I haven't been in the Hoyt loop much lately. To my knowledge the limb width and separation hasn't changed since the XT2000s were first introduced in 2000. If the thickness has changed then that may pose a problem. Hopefully someone else on here has one to tinker with.

I put a pair on my Alpine Impact X-treme and they work great. One local pro shop told me they only work on new Hoyts, a different shop said ,"Well, lets find out." He put on a pair and I've been shooting them for 3 weeks now. They did slide about 3" after about 100 shots so I put a small dab of clear silicone on them where they meet the limbs and no more sliding. Give it a try, if they don't work for you I'll buy them from you.

I just put them on my '04 Vipertec. They do make a significant difference in noise.
I know people who have them on older split limb hoyts as well. One set is on a 2002 (i think) MT Sport.
