what do you use

RE: what do you use
Actually quick spins should have no helical put on them. They were disigned to be put on straight.
My set up will be a Carbon Express CX400 with a white crest and 4 three inch feathers on a hard right helical. Tipped with either 100 or 125 grain slick tricks, which are a fixed 4 blade head with a 1-1/8th inch cutting diameter, and cut to 30 inches. Will also be trying out the magnocks for the first time this year (will see how they work).
Will be useing a BT alleginace and the 100 grain heads should be somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 fps and the 125 grain heads should be about 295 fps.

I spoke with the tech at NAP about how to properly fletch the Quik Spins, and they said not straight but a slight right offset if using a straight clamp and a slight right helical if using a right helical clamp. They said it's not the best to do a hard helical, but a 1-2 degree offset is just about right.

Carbon express CX200s cut to 27"
EZE Crest wraps cut down to 1" wide
3 Bohning Blazer vanes attached with a right helical clamp and 2 degrees(guessing) offset
Easton UNI bushings with G-Nocks
I used NAP Scorpion XP 100's last year. I'm looking at the Buzzcuts, Wasp Sharpshooters or Slick Tricks to try out for this year.
