I was just wondering if I might be able to get some reviews from other woman who are shooting the Bowtech Specialist. I am looking at getting a new bow for target and 3D. I have been shooting competitively for 13 years but had a pretty good break while away at school (I wasn't allowed to shoot as I could not take my bows overseas and keep them in residence). I typially shoot recurve but started shooting compound in 2004 for fun and for hunting. After my break from shooting I am having difficulty getting back into shooting recurve and I have decided to focus my efforts on compound shooting. I am presently shooting my original compound 'PSE The Beast' at 45#'s and have a draw length of 27 1/4" (pushing 27 1/2 as I am still growing but I am presently shooting 27" on my Beast). I am currently using a tru ball wrist strap release but I am also considering changing to a hand held thumb release with D-loop. I am not certain if this will change my draw length significantly or not as of yet.
Anyways, any positive and negative feedback about the Specialist or other bows used by ladies (with a similar draw length) for target and 3D would be greatly appreciated!
