Lens magnification?
I am getting some Viper pro 2000 sights and i am thinking of getting a lens also. Need your opinion on which lens to get? 2,3,4 or 6x magnification? I am going to be using the lens for 3d and paper.

According to the optometrist I have better than 20/20 vision, would i need a clarifier? I don't know what better than 20/20 vision is but that's what the optometrist says i have!

RE: Lens magnification?
Well I have a tricky story for ya. I just put in a 4x in my viper and a couple of different people told me I would have to adjust my sight. The day I put it in I was spot on, no adjustment needed that I could tell. The next day I shot again with the same results. The day after that I shot my league inside at paper and couldn't a darn thing. So, I started moving things. Long story short, I don't have the lens in it any more, and had to resight my bow back in from where I moved it. I will put the lens back in but for now, the next couple of shoots I am going to I am shooting in the novice class and can't use it anyway. So when I am ready to move back to the hunters class I will put it back in and leave it in from then on but only after I adjust my sight.

Tricky as in, it's tough to adjust to if you go with a high power magnification. A lense magnifies movement, which was had for me to get used to. A 2x is a good choice because it magnifies, but it's not too strong.

I agree with matt and 2x is probably a good start, definately no more than 3.
My eye sight is/was better than 20/20 also and I eneded up removing my lens all together when shooting outside 3-d.Just easier for me to pick a spot to aim at and see it after I had drawn.I was shooting the open stake as well.
