Default Biting Rat

My Rat Terrier wants to bite all the time. Not a mean bite just a playful one. how do I get him to stiop diong it??

bite him back and show him who's boss

for real, be consistent in repermanding him both vocally and physically with a good slap. if he's a young pup it's normal for them to chew on you, i found that when they're biting i grab their tounge and hold on to it until they really pull away don't forget to be vocal. after a while of getting their tounge pulled they'll let off you a bit.

When his mouth is open and biting (playfully), place his upper lip so that when he bites down, he bites himself. That stopped my lab that LOVED nipping and chewing. [&:]

I grab the dogs lower jaw and put pressure under its tongue with my thumb until they get the idea.
