Default llewellins

I'm getting ready to purchase a new llewellin pup, but the one available has only a very shot tail. Does any one know if this is common for the breed and if it could be a problem? [email protected]

What is a llewellin and what is it used for?
When I was much younger I knew girl named Lou Ellen, but she didn't hunt.

A short tail on a Llewellin Setter usually would mean an indication of something gone awry. You may not be able to trial or breed it. I would find out the cause.
