Pointing lab, I have to Post This
I just wish I had a camera handy when I saw this today.
I had my 7 month old lab out in the yard with me today as I was doing car work. Well I came around the corner of the house and looked at himhard on point, I had to see what, and it was a Cardinal sitting on the ground. I loved it. He points the Pheasant tails, just first time for a live bird. Can't wait until Wednesday when I take him Pheasant hunting. Ducks come Friday and Saturday

I'm wondering if your pup has been introduced to the gun?

RE: Pointing lab, I have to Post This
I took my Lab out today (Max) for his first Pheasant hunt, and Iwill have to say, I am quite pleased on how he performed in the field , and to know my hard work has paid off. We brought home 7 Pheasant, shot 9 but 2 were cripples which got themselves lost before Max could get to them. of the 9 total birds, one was kicked up by my daughter, and Maxflushed a rooster sitting right were one of the shot birds fell. He pointed 7 birds in all and would not flush until Iwas there doing it or told him to do it. I don't brag much, but that had to be (other than watching him work) the most beutiful thing you could see. We have a duck/goose hunt this weekend I cannot wait. I would post a pick but don't know how to do that.

I got Max from Lankas labs out of Atwood, Kansas.
Thanks EODLT, I will try that.
Update: I just resized a couple pics, and the smallest I can get is 400kb. I am photo editing dumb, but looks like that is it, in order to keep the birds and dog in same pic.
