Because you mentioned dove hunting and possibly duck hunting, I would have to say a Lab.....eventhough I love GSP's and won't trade that breed for the world!

Where do you live that's in the middle of nowhere and has roosters all over but no public access? You either need to do a better job at meeting your neighbors or find out which church to attend, 'cause that's just not right!
