My two are Shelby and Annie. We do not follow the traditional naming. Think I'll call my next one Butch. A friend of mine calls his Chub.

My Chocolate is named Maggie.The breeder's kids named her Reeses(like the pieces)before we picked her out.

I like outdoor names. I named my black Lab Raven, and my Springer Ivy.
Some other names I think are good: Hazel (fem.) Sage, Robin, Moss, Laurel, Briar, Drake, Jade, Teal.

Use a Big Lead to shoot them
were they aint.

Well i didn't have a lab but just case in point here. I used to have a German Shorthaired Pointer and i named him Traz because he had a spot on his head that looked like a map of San Friansco Bay and Alcatraz Island (the spot is why i nameded him 'Traz' (minus the golden state bridge)
