Default Another puppy food question..

My new Lab is 9 weeks old, and is very active. I'll start working with him in about 2-3 weeks and was trying to find a good food to put some extra weight on him. Any suggestions?

Why more weight? Thin dogs have less stress on growing joints.

Put your dog on a premium "Large Breed" puppy food. Eukanuba, Diamond, Eagle Pack are some of the best brands.

Doc I've got him on premium puppy. What age do you recommend switching to premium dog? What about the eggs?

Make sure it's a LARGE BREED puppy food.

Most folks will change over to an Adult Performance food at 9 to 12 months. Some earlier -- a few later.

COOKED eggs are a fine addition (Casey gets a couple fried eggs a week)...............Just NEVER give raw eggs.

Cutter, find a food that is high in protien and medium on fat.
Always check to see how much you are paying perunit of protien.
