Default a bad day at my house

I had to put my best friend down yesterday. My jagdterrier had been having problems for a week. I took him to the Vet yesterday and he was diagnosed with right sided conjestive heart failure. We could have kept him alive for a year maybe but he wouldn't have been able to do the things he lived for. I have a 200 lb hole in my heart right now. He only weighed 20lbs but he was sure he weighed 200. My family and I are mourning the loss of our friend and confidant, Tom Bombadil.

So sorry to hear that news....It is never an easy decision. I had to take my best friend years ago and held her while the Vet gave her the shot. She died in my arm....Again, it s so tought to make that decision and I am sure you know in your heart ir was the right one....

I can't say I know how you feel but you are in my thoughts. I have had family dogs pass on when I was a kid but now I have a GSP all my own she is about 5 yrs old now and I dread the day I have to make that difficult choice. I know I will feel great pain, I can only imagin how you must feel. god bless
