Default Question for the N.C. folks?

Are the Judges there human beings or jerks? Why do I ask? Read the following and tell me how you think the judge will rule?

Default RE: Question for the N.C. folks?

BowNC I do plan on pleading guilty with an explanation. I told the policeman I was guilty and why, I even asked him if he could have the Havlock police swing by to make sure that my daughters husband was not home when I got there to avoid a possible confrontation. He verified to me that he had contacted them and that there had been a domestic dispute the night before. When I got there the Havlock police had been good to their word and had swung by to make sure he wasn't there and she was okay. All I am hoping for is a bit of compassion from the judge, I know I am guilty of speeding, but the charge is reckless driving because I was doing 23 mph above the posted speed limit. I just hope they can reduce the reckless charge to simply speeding.

BowNC to be honest with you I wondered that also, he seemed to be a nice guy, I was surprised that he didn't cut 4 mph of the ticket to where I wouldn't have to come to court. I am guilty as all get outs and have no problem admiting that. I, as always was very polite and in control. I still am stratching my head over why he could not have cut me the 4 mph. Oh well it is done.
