Hello there fellow Clinton fans...

I live in Wynne, Ar and roam all over. Just bought a new rifle/scope at Ultimate Outdoors yesterday (in searcy)
Hunting has been great so far....how 'bout ya'll??

I do the bass tournament thing all summer...Clarendon and Russellville are 2 of our regular stops.

Nice to see other Arkansans active on the boards. Later

Hey there southern_huntress.....No, I don't fish with L. Nixon although I would love too. I'm a little fish compared to him, pun intended! I'm not a pro, just a weekend amateur. Larry Nixon is an icon in the pro fishing world. Oh Yea, I got an Elk tag in 2001 and killed a large 6X6 down at Gene Rush WMA. I was in the Democrat-Gazette, whole back page actually with the sports writer, Trey Reed. That's in your neck of the woods.

7mm~ Maybe one day you'll get you dream moment , of fishing with MR.Nixon.lol
He has one NICE house, and truck, so I guess it pays off to fish for $$! I do believe it takes a real talent, though, because I know some people (myself included) that can fish all day, and not catch a thing, and the person next to them, uses the same method, and catches boo-koos of em'. I don't get it...[&:]
Congratualtions ( a little late!lol) on getting such a nice elk! That had to be a cool experience!
I did not live in the area in 91' so I didn't get the privlege of reading about your hunt. I do however, read Trey's articles all the time...good, (and funny!) writer...
