Sure does sound that way.

I am orig. from a little town called Timbo Arkansas. Down around Mtn. View.

I now live in NM. But am fixing to head home for a few weeks. Going to hit the Buff. river and do a little fishing.

I love those Smallies.

hunter338,

How did you do on the smallies?

Hill Hopper,

I have 80 acres up in your direction. It's in Pleasant Plains. I have hunted some around Prim. It is excellent turkey hunting up that way.

Lots and lots ot turkeys silentassassin. They drive me NUTS when I'm deer hunting. Ben lives on 1000 acres up there that we've been going to since I was a teenager. Cool place with plenty of canyons and great habitat for deer and turkey. Unfortunately also for skunks, coyotees, and armadillos too.

GIT-RR-DONE!!!!

Well I got back this last Sat. Did do alot of fishing though. Cought alot of Brownies and Goggle Eye. I am getting ready to do a family FISH FRY.
I was useing a 1/4 lead head with the tail off of a Power Bait Worm (Pumpkin Seed )worked it like you would a Gitz-It and cought the Hell out of those Small mouth. We fished the Little Red and the Buff. Rivers.

You guys are correct in saying that about the Turkey and Deer. Some of the BEST hunting I have ever done has been in those hills.

I do plan on going back this Nov. to do some Deer hunting too.

Hope to meet some of you while I am there. SURE DO SOUND LIKE GOOD FOLK.
