Nothin but rain in Fla
Headed to the camp today to get a few things squared away before bow season starts this weekend. Denis Phillips sais is going to be nothing but rain, rain, and more rain throughout the weekend. By the looks of it you guys going to the greenswamp will get it too. Stay dry and good luck to all you bow hunters out there.

I saw that....there is a system out there...The swamp itself is dry..but ain can be miserable...If it wasn't so dry I wouldn't be able to get to the river the way I do...it is dried up petty much.

Hard to imagine the river all dried up. Last time I hunted the Green Swamp was after the 04 hurricane season and there was plenty of water in it then. The water marks were just above head leavel on all the trees which gave the woods a real spooky look.

Myclub borders somesmall limerock test pits thatusually hold 25-30ftof water. Theyhave about 10 ft of water now, and none of the swamps I hunt have standing water. It's terrible!
In Tallahassee it was 64 degrees this morning. It actually starts to feel like hunting season, I can't wait for saturday morning!

Since it is flat..it don't take much water to flood the place either..IN Aug. there was only a puddle under one bridge. I used a satellite site to help me find water.{-:
