Default Kentucky Hunters I am need of some advice

I am thinking about making a trip to Kentucky this year and hunt some Public Land. I have heard some of the best pieces are the Land between the Lakes and Peabody. Any other good ones you could point me to? Thanks.

I heard Pennyrile is a good place. Here is a pic of a buck that was taken off it last year.

Any where in the Daniel Boone National Forest around Cave Run area.

It's best to take a boat to some secluded part of the lake and slide into the woods away from other hunters ...

Me and the family were camping in LBL a couple of weeks ago. We saw tons of deer. Lots of decent bucks. I saw 2 that were 145 or better. We just drove around and glassed bean fields. And if you're planning on camping, there are some excellent facilities available and pretty cheap at that. I think because of the layout, LBL is fairly easy to learn. I'm not sure I would gun hunt there (From what I've heard its pretty crowded), but bow season doesn't seem to be too crowded.
