i've decided all deer seek sanctuary at the natchez trace
I was driving back to Tupelo, MS from Florence, AL last night and counted 15 in a very short period of time.
I haven't seen a single one while holding a gun this year.

Dude, thats how it always is. I have seen more deer in the road in front of my house than I have in the field all season. I have seen about 15 deer in the field this year, and shot one of them. Poetic justice.
They are ALWAYS around when your not hunting or when you dont have a rifle handy.
