Hey, guys. Got my first buck last Friday morning. Best part, it was with my muzzleloader I bought two years ago. Small one (2 pointer, about 5 inch tines, about 120 lbs), but still excited about it. Buckingham County, near Farmville/Dillwyn. Perfect lung shot with
my Knight, using the copper Powerbelt bullet 295 gr.

M38,

Thanks a lot, just a few more questions. Do I need to check in somewhere when I arrive are? I've hunted clubs for years and on private land which is too far of a drive and hassel at times. Just looking for something close to home for a change.

There is no check in. The deer season ends on Sat. 11/30. The VA Dept. of Game website can give you more info.
Good Luck
