OK, to Bob and Charie, I have sent both of you several pms and emails.. ball in your court.
To everyone else, I still have some openings and some news. It appears we have a chance and will be picking up an another tract of 1200 acres. This is basically one continous tract. I am suppose to go walk it this coming weekend. I have spent several hours today on the phone with the landowners trying to get things inline and as of this point it is looking like a go. This will put us in the neighborhood of approx 3500 acres or so that we hunt during the year.
Also if things dont change (which can happen as we all know) we have an invite to hunt a tract of land that is simply awsome. This tract is 1500 acres located in the northern neck along the potomac river. It has been trophy managed for 9 going on 10 years now. With no deer hunting at all allowed the first 6 or 7 years and only bucks past the ears taken the last 3 years. I have seen the pics from the hunts down there, the firstday it was hunted last year I think there were 8 bucks killed with the smallest being 19 3/4 inside and the largest 23 and change.
We will probably be going on that toward the end of season... our main goal is to help with the doe population but I am working on details for the bucks... not set in stone but would put money that we will hunt it this year...
