Default Acorn crop in Alabama

Calhoun county , Al - soo many acorns have fallen in the woods so far this year it's like trying to walk on marbles . We will have some butterball bucks this year. I haven't seen such a crop in quit a few years(find a big white oak and you might just find a big buck.)

Default RE: Acorn crop in Alabama

Acorn crop here in the part of VA I hunt is the same way. The down side to this is myself and my hunting buddies have not seen as many deer as usual. I guess they don't have to travel far to find food.
