RE: who hunts in north texas?
i was just wondering if you ever see any good bucks up there. do you feed anything other than corn? we had a food plot started last year but with the drought and all, it didnt come in very well.
they shot a nice 11 point on opening morning last year but they also dont even huntthe back 200 acres or so, which is where i plan on hunting next year.
thanks

There seems to be a good deer population in the area. Most of my wife's family is not real serious about deer hunting but when they decide to go they almost always bring one back. With a little patience and work it will probably work out well for you.

Yes it is....never know when one might need a friend in Rockwall....LOL. Seems like driving from Denton to Rockwall would get old...what does it take 1 1/2 hours? Of course I drive to Richardson everyday but it only takes an hour....

it takes about an hour and ten minutes. i am trying to sell my house and may end up renting it out and moving back down to lake tawakoni, my grandmother owns some land down there.
but yes, the drive gets very old and the price of gas dont help.
