Looking for place to Rabbit hunt!
I was wondering if anyone out there could spare a few rabbits. My dad and I are looking for a place to bring about 10-15 dogs for a few days. We're from North Carolina, so We would want to find something within about 8 hours away. If you're interested please contact me!!!

coolbrze0,
I'm also looking for a place to rabbit hunt, and as you recall I live up here in Alexandria. Maybe we could hunt somesometime if you're down.
Went to the Amelia, and saw only one rabbit, as I said in an earlier post.

RE: Looking for place to Rabbit hunt!
Cool, keep me informed. I have hunted rabbit over beagles before. They're great dogs, if you're using beagles.
My season was a wash. I need to get a truck, man! I've got a car, and it just doesn't cut it in the hunting world - I'm labeled a redneck when I pull up to the grounds :] I need a bumper sticker that says "I'm not a redneck, and this vehicle is only a temporary fix until I get a real truck for hunting, thank you." And I don't want to trash my car by taking it to the muddy and hilly places, either.

I know yall areout east, but if you ever come to texas we got all the rabbits you could want!!!! You could shoot 20-30 a day just driving down the dirt roads. Hunting with dogs does sound fun, but if you're ever in Texas let me know and we'll go smoke a few rabbits and prarie dogs. Happy Hunting!

I'm in Nazareth, TX. Zip code 79063. It's about an hour south of Amarillo if you can find that. You may not be able to find Nazareth on the map, it's pretty small (pop. 299!) but you might be able to on mapquest.
