Steve, I am from Roanoke as well. Glad to see someone else from the area on the boards. I don't know of any land for lease or of any clubs. I just moved here last year, and have found some decent hunting on the national forests. Where are you hunting this season?

steve,you will have a hard time finding a place unless you hunt state forrest. i hunt potts creek / covington area and know alot people there .you have to know them for years before they will let you hunt there land .but the george washington forrest has plenty good hunting there if you go their you should try to get in close toSWEET ROAD ive seen nice bucks come from their.

I hunt pubic land every year always have and always will but i would like to have the option to be able to hunt a good piece of private land that has Quality deer because of managment.I put in my time to find a good deer on public land, but i would like a place to be able to see more good deer per year with theoption of taking more does to put in the freezer.
