yes very true im only 18 years old and started there when i was 13 and have taken sum monsters with my bow and gun so im pretty lucky u can say in quantico or i just to alot of home work for being such a young hunter

Quantico Kidd, can I assume that you harvested those bucks on a Saturday, because your were in school, or did you skip and go out during the week? I hunted there years ago and saw several hunters during the morning one weekend. I don't mind sharing the woods but, would prefer to
see more deer than orange. What weapon did you use ? I too, want to say "congrats" on your success. Be sure to spread the Deerhunting interest to guy's your age.

Thanks i always spread hunting to others as much as i can ... i Killed the 9B nine pointer opening day of shotgun season and i killed my biggest do date out of 16C on Nov 6th with my hoyt magnatec compound bow i was with my father both days he also got a nice buck off of quantico from 14B nice 8 pointas you no im 18 and addicted to whitetails i spend every weekend on quantico when im not doing other things such as school or working i scouting and got alot of new spots to try this year and can not wait for the acrchery season to open and ....Quantico has extended there season for those who qualify for mainside does only from jan8-feb2 so little extra meat if u hunt mainside k hope to hear back from you guys soon.......

the bucks that were reported in this post seem to be VERY small! 59 lbs? 107 as a big one? My first buck I shot down here in fairfax county was easy 150 lbs+ field dressed. I though it was a typical deer until the butcher said it was one of the biggest he ever butchered...here is the pic

Nice Buck did u kill that on fort belvoir ? i hunted there couple times lots of deer we hunt Quantico and the body weights are not that much around here biggest about 130 dressed average 107-110 bucks does about 50-75 quantico is very heavy hunted gun fairfax is all bow so the deer have time to grow and mature mainside at quantico is where the big bucks are at average buck there is 110 dressed does over there are about 70-90 getting ready to qualify at quantico for mainside ........

Went out to 8B today scouting the deer where up moving alot cuase the weather that had moved throught the night before. i saw about 10 does and 3 fawns with spots and 2 spikes and a nice 8 or 9 couldnt tell if he had brows but the very calm and im very exited to get in a tree opening day seeing alot of nice bucks this year in 5c,8b,5a anyone else had any luck scouting anything good this year ?
