I hunt in Eastland Co. Anybody hunting in any of the surrounding co's.?
I went out opening weekend and saw four deer (3d,1b)and all at night.

I think I heard about 5-6 shots the whole weekend. Anybody have anything to report from the East texas area, around or south of Marshall (Panola co.)?

Hunted Cass County, in Avinger, and was really a pitiful opening weekend. Too hot and windy. Didn't hear many shots either. Hope weather improves soon.
