Usually i put it out on thrusday night and hunt it friday night and saturday night.

i have like 3 geese and a rabbit i shot during the seasons and i never threw out the scraps idk if thats enough ?

You better be there when they show up, 'cause it won't last long. What deerhunter has going for him is that he has large amounts of "bait" that he can replenish from time to time, which keeps the coyotes hanging around. And when he said that he put it out and "they came running" kind-of paints the wrong picture. If your bait pile is small, 3 whole geese and 1 whole rabbit isn't much, coyotes will be there and gone leaving you nothing, but with a dead pig, or two, the coyotes will eat, leave, and then come back a few times, often times returning during day light giving a guy ample time to shoot a few!!

I hunt in Western NY and from what I understand hunting over bait is illegal here but I hunt on a farm that is loaded with coyotes. The farmer as a pit in the woods where he dumps all his dead cows.

I set up in a field that seperates that woods from the main wooded area of the far and call from thier. the yote don't even hesitate to come running. I usually have to use a howler to let out a bark and stop them to get off a shot.

Predetor hunting has turned out to be as big of an addiction as bowhunting whitetails.
