So, Swampman, did ya get anything that you were looking for out of this discussion?I started with the .270, deer hunting and calling yotes, then I got a .243 for yotes, then I went to the 22-250 for yotes, and still have the other two rifles.I used to shoot 100 grain soft points out of the .270 for yotes, it did plenty of damage for sure, then I tryed the .243, still alot of damage, and I'm still getting alot of damage, most of the time, with the 22-250, so am thinking about going down to the .223.If pelts were worth more money, I'd go to the .223, but for now, will stick with the 22-250.
