Default Hornet stings another crow

That little Hornet just does not like crows to sit on the ground at 80 yards unmolested.

I am a happy guy this morning.

So, is your rifle the new Hornet17? What ammo? Was the wind blowing? Give us the details, pics are nice!

It is just a regular .22 Hornet shooting handloads. Light wind and good conditions. Not much to tell really, but shooting a crow is always a good day for me. I get more excited shooting a crow than a whitetail.

My dad has an Anschutz full manilcher .22 Hornet and it really shoots nice. Never shot much with it, too pretty for me to take out. They are fun to shoot with a rifle I have to admit!!!! My 220 Swift and 22-250 really makes em fly!!!!! EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, I hadn't stayed up reading this forum due to traveling. Wanted a Hornet17 but both ammo and gun selection looks very limited. Just bought a WSM17, but won't have a chance to shoot it till late March.

If I see a crow, (or groundhog or ect...) I'll see how she shoots!
