I appologize Backwoods, I misunderstood what you were asking. My .220 Sift is a Savage 112BVSS-S. That is a Savage Model 112, Bull barrell, Varmint, Stainless Steel-Singleshot. It is a TACK DRIVER!!!!! It carries a Leupold Vari-X 6.5-20x44mm, with a tricked out trigger. Breaks at 1.5lbs. I am the only one who handles it in the field, because of the trigger. On the bench, I let anyone shoot it.
It will consistently shoot sub-1/2inch groups with 50grn Nosler Ballistic Tips, IMR4064 powder, and CCI Benchrest primers alll day and if I keep my head out of my butt, it will shoot sub 1/4" groups.
It is really heavy, not a real thrill to carry all day, but when a 'yote hangs up at 400+ yds, no problem. Mic it, dope the wind and send it!!!
