Destroying the myth (camoman)trapping
For those that may have missed the other thread where camoman and I were discussing trapping and it's useful effects as a management tool and how things aren't always what they seem. Trapping has taken on a bad rep for those that are unaware of it's effective tool for game management.
Days of old there were some problems with traps injuring animals but as technology and evolution of traps have changed, the change in reputation has not. Please take a few moments and check out this video...

Camoman - I hope that after watching this vid you see where I am coming from. I would be happy to discuss this further with you.
For the others who attacked camoman, you have to look at this as a time to educate yourself and others. I am a hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman and taxidermist so I get to hear many of the other sides arguements. And with education you can at least get them to understand better. How many of you guys and gals know how to handle someone who does not know or has a bad vision of what trapping or hunting is? How many of you know about the Robertson-Pittman Act and it's importance to hunters and trappers??

RE: Destroying the myth (camoman)trapping
it is def. hard to have a discussion with somebody who is against trapping and hunting. everybody has there own views opinions. it takes a lot of patience. i have grown up around hunter and trappers so it is second nature for me.
