I dont know where you are located at but welcome to the busy world that sucks sometimes when quiet would be wonderful. In KY the only quiet I can get is in very rural settings, but you still hear an occaisional vehicle on these roads.I've never got to hunt out west where there is hundreds of miles of nothing and a lot of it public land open to hunting, around here public land consist of land around the lakes and state parks, much of which hunting isn't allowed.JUST KEEP ON CALLING A COYOTE WILL HOME IN ON YOUR SOUNDS IF HE'S INTERESTED

Just came back from my sisters farm, spent the weekend shooting prairie dogs at her place. Once we got off the pavement we didn't see another vehicle all weekend. Nearest town is 18 miles away and the busiest road has three cars going by all day long. Is that quiet enough for ya ? She truly lives in BFE and its my escape about 12-15 times a year. There are farm roads but not much travels on them during the off season from farming (right now is that time). We were shooting pds 1/2 mile off the highway one afternoon and I honestly don't think I heard a vehicle all day.

Oh! so you folks are jealous too! I went out to Bellfouche SD for antelope in 2005, and my buddy and I were standing there out in the boonies and I said to him ... did you hear that? He said ..hear what? I said ..exactly, NOTHING! Jeez it was nice not to hear any of the normal car/truck/train noises. Heck, I think I did SEE an airplane though! Good Hunting Guys! ... SHOTARYE

Good news is that we are willing to share our solitude. I've had friends come from such far away places as IL, LA, MO and KS just to shoot pds and be in BFE.
