Biggest bobcat.
What's the biggest weight of a bobcat you've seen or heard of? I talked to a taxidermist a couple years ago who said he mounted a tom that weighed 52 lbs. He said it's head was about the size of a basketball. I didn't see it, but only could imagine it would be huge. I've killed a couple over 30lbs and I thought they were huge.

52 lbs., that would be a big lynx, let alone a bobcat.I've only taken 3, and the biggest was from here in Colo., and it only weighed 19 lbs., female.I had it full mounted by a taxidermiest in N.E. Ks., and he said that it's feet were larger than any other bobcat that he had ever mounted.I presume, that since I got it from the mountains, that maybe they have addapted with larger paws for the snow, I don't know though.I have heard of cats in the 30 lb. range, which I thought was big, but 52 lbs., holy cow, that's huge for sure!
