rabbit hunting question
i have a question. i usually hunt with my 12 gauge but the other day i found my old 20 gauge single shot and took that out the other day and killed my limit. well i was talking with my dad today and he said he has my very first shotgun a single shot .410. it has a full choke and has a 3 in. chamber. i have some 3 in. 4 shot for it. and i was thinking of taking it out for a rabbit hunt tomorrow. we just got snow so they will be sitting tight. so my question is should i take it and will it work.

RE: rabbit hunting question
The .410 will be great it was a stable in hunting for years but has lost popularity over the past decade. You should be able to shoot rabbit at the same range with the #4 shot as you would with the 20 gauge using #6 shot.

RE: rabbit hunting question
well success i went out and shot my 4 rabbits with my old .410. they were all running shot and 3 out of the 4 were head shots so i was happy. but sorry no pics my camera is broken but just figured i would let ya'll know it worked out.
