RE: Squirrel Call
Last year, I purchased a Primos Squirrel Buster multipurpose call. I makes realistic sound, comes with a tutorial cassette, and was very reasonable in price. It worked a few times for me, barking back and forth with a wound up squirrel. Good luck!

I also have the primos call and I call in about half of the squirrels that I shoot. The acorns are extremely plentiful this year and the tree rats aren't moving around very much so the call is really coming in handy.

never used any of the commercial callers. take the back of your hand and make asucking sound, ( pucker like for a kiss but sucking, with a little pratice you can make some fairly reasonable barks )the middle of the backyour hand where its flat. some over do it with the calling, all you want to do is get their attention. one to three barks and stop. squirrels arent stupid, make them come looking for the squirrel they think they heard, dont tell them exactly where you are.some years ago i read an article in field and stream on how to do this, lost track of how many i have killed this way. never left my call at home either.
