First hand call - what should it be?
Hunt in Northern and Southern Alabama. Have bobcat and coyote in both areas. Is there any one multi-sound call you would suggest for a beginner? More interested in bobcats than coyote.

RE: First hand call - what should it be?
if your looking for one call to make several or many sounds then you need to look into open reed calls.open reed calls can make a multitude of sounds by regulating the reed, where as closed reed calls your stuck with what the call was made to sound like.theres alot of them out there to choose from and they all will work.its a matter of personal preference.if your targeting cats then get a thin reeded call to produce higher pitched sounds and if you practice enough you can make bird distress sounds with it.3 such calls are, primos regulator 10,verminator tweety and dinise kirks mini open reed.
