    what is the best gun to use to hunt groundhog?

    .22 Magnum on up. It depends on the range. Bolt action is the most accurate and make sure you have a good scope. As always, buy the best gun you can afford. Ruger Model 77 is a nice "medium" price ranged gun.

    If the land owner will let you use your deer rifle and when you can nuke groundhogs at extended ranges the deer are in deep sh_t come fall..................Harold
