I use my Stoeger M2000 for rabbits and squirrels and anything else that walks or flies. The semi auto is great for fast shots and the 12 gauge is more versatile. It's not too heavy either. I use a skeet choke for everything and use almost exclusively number 6 shot. It seems to work on everything.

I love that gun! It has jammed a few times when I didn't want it to but it is super reliable the other 99% of the time. I can shoot about as fast as rabbits can run or pheasants can fly.I put in a plug so I didn't shoot as much

my favorite rabbit gunswould be a .22 without scope ,semi automatic and apellet gun with a scope.Surprisingly i can kill rabbits with a pellet gun all you do is shoot them in the head

I prefer one shot to the head with a .22 then you dont have to chew any shot from the 12 or 20 gauge.

I really love my 20 guage. I don't let people hunt with me if are going to use a 22. I have had a couple of dogs gut shot because of this. Strictly shotguns, besides I would go hungry probable relying on a 22 to kill hard running rabbits.

really my favorite is my browningsweet sixteen. I've killed two rabbits this year at over 50 yards, and missed a few at 20yards. i shoot #5, that i reloaded. I think the 16ga is a great gun, i find the 20ga good but, the 12ga makes too much peanut butter if you know what i mean. The rest of my family hunts with .22 handguns. the problem i find with the .22 is that you can shoot a rabbit in the chest and it will run a long time. 1-3 pellets from my 16ga put the rabbit down in a matter of a couple bounces. second i think it's safer for my dog to be in the woods with shotguns
