Nate, the smallest round that i've seen commonly available for the 270wsm is the 130 gr. I shot ayotewithmy a-bolt (270 wsm) with aWin 130 gr bst at about 280 yards and I blew it to $hit, so good luck with that. I think the 223 would be the way to go, good luck.

Yea that is probaly what im gonna do, it would be fun to have to .223 too just to shoot for fun cause the shells arent that expensive. ill have to check out the used rifles next time i go to a store. and yea the lowest ive seen is 130 too, but i was thinking if maybe i went to a ammunition store where they have pretty much anything maybe they would have one that the others dont, idk im just kind of hoping
