Barnes Triple Shock
Well, thought I would post a report on a load, since I could not find a ton of it on here....
I just loaded a bunch of Barnes Triple Shock bullets.....Here are my specs
Model- Tikka Whitetail Hunter, Stainless Synthetic, Laminate Stock
Caliber- .300 Winchester Magnum
Bullet- Barnes Triple Shock 180 Grain
Powder- RL-22 77 Grains
Brass- Winchester
Primer- CCI Magnum (250)
Took painstaking measures to get absolute proper COAL (Cartrige Over-All Length) as per Barnes.
Shot 4 three shot groups with only inaccuracy being my hand.... Largest group was 1.25"
Shot a three shot group at 300 yards and was 1.25" as well.....
granted you have to start with a good shooting rifle....but this load performed very well....I would highly recommend this load.....
