Default 7mm mag (am i being too picky) UPDATE!!!!

fellas thanks for all of your advice and encouragement, i took some of your advice and got a Timney trigger installed, (~ 2.75 lb pull) and tried RL 22 powder, I think you will find that i am pleased with the result!!!

mossy33oak....nice shooting, now if the combination you have does that consistantly you have a nice load. Dont befraid of trying other loads as they might shoot as good or better than the one you have now. Working up loads can be fun but can also be a pain[:@] When is "good" good enuff?
Here are some 100 yard/ 5 shot groups fired from the same rifle with different bullets, powders etc. The results....they group well but have different POI. Only by testing will you be able to find out.

Looks like you've got it!!! It's amazing how powders can change the result so much. I am finally getting happy with my loads as well. Went last night to do some tweaking and was happy with the finall result at 200yds. Now for 300

DoubleA, just wondering..what caliber are you shooting at those targets? Very impresive groups if it's a 7mm, even if it isn't I'm pretty impressed.

p.s. what is a Timney trigger? never heard of it

Now if you can consistantly shoot similar groups to the one posted your load development is done.However,be careful when judging loads based on a single group.
