Hornady .243
I know this is a reloading forum but I figured I would get my best information from you guys.
Is there a big performance difference from the Custom .243 and the Light Magnum .243 from Hornady?

Well,
I bought a couple of boxs and plan on shooting it....the kids mostly hunt with it...and will be making shoulder and lung shots with the rifle....for now...200 yards at the max....just curious if the Light Mags....are worth the $10 for for this kind of range....

I just got back from the range. I shot the Hornady Light Magnum .243 shells that I bought. I was pretty impressed by the factory load. It grouped very nicely and shot 3" lower at 100 yards than the Winchester shells that I had been shooting. These shells tightened the pattern that I was shooting by 200%.
