Default Project .223AI Load Development

I went to the range today to shoot a few loads I worked up for Project .223AI. The wind kicked up very quickly so between that and my self induced flyers I only sent about 30 rounds down range. Despite the conditions I have a couple loads worth further investigation.

35-40F Sunny/Windy

A conservative load

Another conservative load with 50gr V-max and another flier by me.



I did notice my loads are a bit on the conservative side with absolutely no signs of pressure. I was being cautions as I have never loaded for the .223AI before. Next trip I should have more time, loads and better weather. At least the rifle shows potential.
