No I don't use any pure copper or pure copper jacked bullets, only gliding metal jacked bullets.

You might like the Speer 220gr but I am not sure if it will take much velocity over 2400fps. For your 350rem the 225gr partition it tops. Remember velocity is not everything even in longer range shooting that 225part is a solid 300 yards and then some bullet in the 350rem. It will out shoot the 200gr bullets a around 270 yards and beyond even for deer. but for moose the 225/250gr are the best. I would except any accurate load with the 225gr partition that was 2500fps and over and I would guess 2600-2700fps is easy to reach in the 350.

Check with conley precision they load the 358win with the 200gr CLRN at 2520fps. Maybe it tuffer than I known. It is hands down the best 35rem bullet avaible, any where between 2130 and 2200fps the oldtimer really come alive for deer, bear, moose, if inside of 125 yards it still works great.

35rem, 358win, 35whelen, 270win, and 22 hornet "tools of the trade".

lol my shots are seldom over 50 yds here in maine but its nasty thick and the bucks are big and tough. ive head horror stories about the nosler partitions not expanding. any truth to this? ive never really experimanted w/ them at all. also i apreciate all the info

Quite the opposite the partition has a very soft nose that tapers back to a ticker jack and then tha partition part that will still punch through. Itis designed for just 60-70% weight retension so that soft nose sends peices off that do more damage than just the retained core on its own can do. Their like a b-tip and barns x bullet all in one bullet.

As long as the impact velocity is at or above 1900fps it will expand! For me the 225gr partition is the do all bullet for the 350rem/35whelen/358win. The whelen can use the 225gr accubond but he 350/358 can't handle this long of bullet the neck is to short not to mention the magazine length.

Tac, Reloader #15, H4895 are good powders ( I hear for the 350)
