Are you talking about the Lee Classic Cast press? Or the Lee Classic Handloader whack away with a mallet kit? If its the second, that is how I got started into reloading last fall.

the second, I am thinking of upgrading. Tring to get my dad and bother in law to go in with me. my dad has been reloading with one for 20+ years. and bother in law needs to cut the cost of his brit 303 and a better round for his 44mag marlin. I am playing with the idea of reloading 7.62 x 39s for hunting (not for plinking)

The upgrade is way worth it. A lot quieter too lol. There is nothing wrong with the old whack away with a hammer kit, but a press is just quieter and easier on the arms, ears and wrists.

I appears that alot of us started reloading the same way with Lee Loaders, and I just "upgraded" to a Lee Hand Press(es). I am only loading for my 270's now but am picking up my Sauer 202 in 22-250 next week, and I already have the dies to start loading for it when I get home from my hunt in OK.
The Lee Loaders work fine, but like others have said, there is an easier and quieter way.
