Default Reusing powder

I was making good use of my kinetic hammer last night and correcting a few loads on 15 rounds. I put the powder in a clean container and reused it and put a piece of toilet paper in the bottom of my hammer to save the bullets. I reused both. Is this a practice you would do. This 300RUM uses alot of powder. Don't take long to run thru 1lb. Just curious.

If you ABSOLUTELY KNOW what powder it is by all means use it and the bullets over. I do the same with the toilet paper trick. I just wouldn't use the cases, powder or bullets for sighting in because the cut granules, minor scratches on the bullets and slightly belled neck on the cases may affect accuracy or POI. Just use those rounds for practice and not on game either.

As long as you know what the powder is,I see no problem...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

If you're not 100% absolutely sure, use it to fertilize your lawn.
