Your right, you werent around much bud. Thats the first pic of that split g-2 buck I have seen! Love it! I got the other buck photo. Nice season ya had there soon to be MR. HIA now that your teaching school! Good luck to ya there as well bud!

Skeeter I absolutely love that buck you killed...I love the big dark antlers and mass...

Dont know if you guys resolved the issue of velvet shedding and the size/age of deer - but the "scientific" explaination says that the amount/level of testosterone in the specific animal regulates when they will begin shedding. This kind of ties in with Cactus bucks - if youve ever heard of em. Heres a link explaining velvet a bit, and cactus bucks.
