Well my BP season was a bust, too many chicken hunters. Before people start saying that they have every right to be there listen to this. I had guys coming as close as 50 yrds away from my stand and when they we see me some would still walk around me looking for birds.I was hunting on a trail about 500 yrds from the truck which these yahoo's would just walk right past and spoil my hunt.I tried to give these two especially stupid jerks that came up to my stand the "what gives"but they wouldn't stop to talk to me.I also had some gap toothed yocal come by with a quad saying he was just out cruising around.I mean what ever happen to hunting etiquette.

trac209- I can sympathize re the other hunters. Been there; had that happen, and there is not a lot you can do to combat ignorance. But I've seen the other side too, where a guy apologized profusely for blundering into the area I was watching from my stand. This fall, about 2 weeks ago, my son scouted out a good stand location for his portable. We went out last week to hang the stand and in a tree 10 feet from the one he had picked was another guys stand. What are the odds in an area the size of the Sandilands!!! We managed to find another location.

Hope if you go for rifle season, your luck is better.
