By saying you are going to mount night vision on it, I'm not clear about that. Are you talking about those little light reflectors that are suppose to illuminate the reticle? They won't help. I would think that anything short of a light taped to the scope there won't be any improvement with being able to see animals. Even with a top of the line Zeiss Diavari it gets too dark to see on moonless nights. Only a true nightvision scope will give night vision capability, unless there is something out there I've missed.

i want to mount it in front or behind it depending on the recoil. so i can use my bsa and have higher power night vision. and i know it wont make the nv see farther i mean it by zooming in.

I have never heard of what you are talking about being done, but I wouldn't bother with doing it to a BSA to be honest. Link us to the product you want to use.
And why would you want to add night vision to a 18 power scope? What do you plan on doing with it?

Is this what you are talking about?
Your kidding me right? How are going to shoot this thing? You will have to hold the rifle about a foot in front of you to do it. And I highly doubt a BSA scope or any scope for that matter is going to support that kind of weight hanging off the ocular lens. And my guess is that those two things combined are going to create an absolute nasty target image.
And notice it says only for use with Airsoft rifles, not firearms.
If you want a night vision scope either get a real one like this.
Or a system to mount a night vision monocular with laser attached like this.
I still question what you would need it for though.

im getting the same yukon that u have pictured on the bottom. i thought i had a picture on here but it must have been a different post. i would only use it at night and take it off during the day and i wouldnt shoot more than 100 yards. i'd use it for hunting predators at night. i just thought it would be easier than taking the scope on and off and haveing to re-adjust it every time.

i was thinking and i forgot about my .17hmr im going to mount it on there instead and theres no recoil so i just use the monocular. i just dont know how far i can see with 2 or 3 power. i use 12 at 200 yards but my scope is messed up so it might not need to be that high.
